This room can hold up to 18 children, age 2-3½ years. The child to staff ratio is 1 to 5.
Our Spinning Tops room provides a warm, stimulating, and engaging environment where children aged 2–3.5 years are encouraged to learn through play. The room is thoughtfully organised into inviting areas that promote independence, curiosity, and confidence.
Children have daily opportunities to explore creative activities, mark making, construction, small world play, role play, and sensory experiences, all of which support their communication, language, and physical development. Open-ended resources are easily accessible, allowing children to make their own choices and follow their individual interests.
Staff carefully plan exciting experiences based on each child’s stage of development, helping them build early literacy and numeracy skills, develop friendships, and grow in confidence. The calm, welcoming environment encourages children to investigate, problem-solve, and become independent learners while preparing them for a smooth transition into our pre-school room.
My twin grandchildren go to Broomfield nursery, they both are very different with my grandson having delay in development so he is kinda like 12mths behind his sister, since they both started we have all seen a change in them , I cannot fault them at all the staff are so good they inform you with the activities they have done each and every day , my grandson has come on so much since him starting they always try to involve him in the activities the other children are doing which I think it's very good that he's not singled out with all the problems he has, his sister has come out of her self and joins in more that's with the encouragement the staff give them , I would highly recommend this nursery
My son has attended the nursery since last year, he has really come on since then learning numerous new things, he is 2 and is way ahead of his years because of this nursery I would highly recommend and the staff well the staff are brilliant always willing to chat to you after pick up with a run down of my child's day just makes me feel so much more confident in the nursey.

I've been sending my children to Broomfield for the last 6 years. All 3 children started there as babies and have attended right up to school age and for school holiday sessions. All of my children are autistic non-speaking kids with high support needs and some challenging behaviours. The staff at the nursery have always been supportive around all of my children's needs and have gone above and beyond for us as a little family, in fact they treat my children more like family than anything.
