Ragdolls 2 Room

This room can hold up to 6 children, age 0-2 years. The child to staff ratio is 1 to 3.

Our Ragdolls 2 Room provides a calm, cosy, and engaging environment where children are encouraged to learn through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences. Carefully designed with children’s development in mind, the room offers a balance of quiet spaces, sensory opportunities, and exciting learning experiences that support every child’s individual interests and stage of development.

Children have access to a variety of carefully planned activities that promote all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Our inviting role play and cosy book corner encourage communication, language, imagination, and a love of stories, while our dedicated creative and investigation areas inspire children to explore, experiment, and develop their problem-solving skills. Sensory experiences, including our interactive tuff tray activities, provide opportunities for children to investigate different textures, develop fine motor skills, and engage in open-ended play.

We believe children learn best through hands-on experiences and child-led exploration. Our experienced practitioners observe each child closely, planning activities that build on their interests while gently introducing new challenges to extend their learning.

Daily routines include opportunities for messy play, construction, mark making, small-world play, creative arts, music, and outdoor learning, helping children develop confidence, independence, and resilience. In Ragdolls 2, we place great importance on creating strong, caring relationships with every child and their family. By working in partnership with parents and carers, we ensure every child feels safe, valued, and supported throughout their learning journey.

Our nurturing environment enables children to flourish socially, emotionally, physically, and academically, giving them the confidence and skills they need as they progress through nursery and beyond.
