Our nursery garden is a safe, stimulating, and engaging outdoor environment designed to support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing. The garden offers a variety of play opportunities, including a natural exploration area with stepping tyres, wooden balance posts, logs, and loose materials that encourage physical development, risk assessment, and imaginative play. A spacious artificial grass area provides room for active play with climbing equipment and a slide, while the larger outdoor space features ride-on toys, a play tunnel, target games, creative mark-making areas, and role-play resources to promote communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Children also have access to tables for creative and sensory activities outdoors, allowing learning to extend beyond the classroom. Surrounded by trees and natural features, our garden encourages curiosity, exploration, and a love of the outdoors, supporting all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through fun, hands-on experiences.
