We are privately run childcare providers with three nurseries based in Wibsey, Halifax Road and Clayton, which are OFSTED registered. We provide high quality childcare for children from birth to 12 years+.

We offer a stimulating environment where children feel safe and secure with a play based curriculum, the children are having so much fun and exploring new and exciting things their do not know there are following the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and now on their way to becoming more independent individuals with the best start in life from Willows Private Day Nursery.

Our experienced team works closely with families to meet each child's unique needs and potential, laying the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. We follow the EYFS development guidelines, offering a wide range of learning opportunities which is documented in the child's learning journey.
We believe in planning around child's interest, and enhancements, ensuring activities are spontaneous and aligned with each child's interests. By tracking your child's development through our trackers, we incorporate next steps into their learning journey, delivering challenging and engaging experiences that are tailored to their individual needs. Our qualified and skilled staff are dedicated to guiding your child's progress and supporting them to reach their next developmental milestone.
The welfare of the child is our highest priority, and we strive to ensure that every child feels safe, valued, and supported in all aspects of their development. We believe that your child's potential is endless — and we are here to help them reach it. All three of our nursery settings are protected by 24-hour CCTV, ensuring the highest level of safety and security for every child in our care.
When your child is ready to start nursery we offer a tailored settling-in period designed to meet the unique needs of each child.
Once you've confirmed your child's place and the registration fee has been received, we offer two free taster sessions, each lasting between 1 to 2 hours. During the first half of the initial session, we encourage you to stay with your child to complete an All about me form and discuss any routines, needs, or special requirements they may have while at nursery. For the second session, we recommend leaving your child for an hour with their keyworker, though you are welcome to call at any time to check in. This will also give your child the chance to begin adjusting to their new surroundings.
Throughout the settling-in process, we encourage you to gradually step back, allowing your child to find their own comfort zone. While you are with your child, their assigned keyworker will spend time getting to know both you and your child, building a strong and supportive relationship.
We understand that every child is different, and some may settle in quickly while others may need more time. We are happy to arrange additional visits if needed to ensure the transition is as smooth as possible. We know this can be a challenging time which we are here to support you every step of the way.
Willows is an amazing nursery, 2 of my children have attended Willow's, the staff are caring, knowledgeable, and reassuring. My child is always happy to attend and talks with great enthusiasm about his day, i feel very confident knowing he is being cared for and loved in my absence.

We've had such a lovely experience at The Willows. Lamiah has been there since she was 2, and the progress she's made in her confidence and learning has been amazing. The staff are so warm and caring, always taking the time to comfort and support her. She built such a strong, special bond with one of her first teachers, which really helped her feel safe, settled, and happy from the very beginning... With my youngest due to start soon, I feel completely reassured. As a parent of a child with Type 1 diabetes, a lifelong autoimmune condition diagnosed at just 1 year old, I fully trust the team to support her needs with care and professionalism. Thank you all.
Willows Private Day Nursery offers a wonderful, nurturing environment where staff genuinely care about the developmental journey of every child. The staff are friendly and work as a team with the children and parents. The staff are attentive and create a lovely, engaging atmosphere, fully focused on the children, even when the room is busy. The parents are reassured that the children are safe and secure at our nursery.
We couldn't have chosen a better nursery for our daughter. She is always so happy to go in and we love receiving photos to see what fun she has been getting up to throughout the day with all her friends in The Fluffy Bunnies. The staff at Willows are always so friendly and welcoming and we would recommend highly to anyone.
