The principles that guide the work of the Nursery are grouped into four themes and are as follows:

Our Babies Room provides a warm, loving, and secure environment where children from birth to 2 years can feel safe, happy, and supported as they begin their learning journey. We understand the importance of building strong, trusting relationships and ensure every child receives individual care tailored to their unique routines, needs, and stage of development.

Our Rocking Horses Room is similar to Spinning Tops and provides a stimulating and nurturing environment where children aged 2.5 years are encouraged to learn through play, discovery, and exploration. At this exciting stage of development, we support children in building their confidence, independence, and social skills while fostering a love of learning.
Age: 2 - 3½ years Places: 18 Child to staff ratio: 1 to 5
Our Spinning Tops Room provides a stimulating and nurturing environment where children aged 2.5 years are encouraged to learn through play, discovery, and exploration. At this exciting stage of development, we support children in building their confidence, independence, and social skills while fostering a love of learning.
Age: 3½ - 4 years Places: 27 Child to staff ratio: 1 to 8
Our Toy Soldiers Room is a warm, welcoming, and engaging environment designed for children to grow in confidence through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences. We provide a wide range of exciting activities throughout the day, encouraging children to investigate, create, and develop new skills at their own pace.
At Broomfield Private Day Nursery, we are devoted to ensuring all children have the best start in life.
We ensure all individual needs are met to the best of our ability. Our SEND support is followed by the graduated approach and is tailored to each individual child.
Our aim is to provide children and families with the best inclusive support and ensure SEND are supported in the best ways possible.
To support our children, we work alongside other agencies as well implementing appropriate documents such as support plans and development journals.
We work with families and take on their needs and preferences; our local council also support us and have used our work in their training courses.
Throughout the nursery we use visuals and Makaton to include all children and support communication and language development.
All staff are kept up to date with relevant training and knowledge to support children and families all round.
My twin grandchildren go to Broomfield nursery, they both are very different with my grandson having delay in development so he is kinda like 12mths behind his sister, since they both started we have all seen a change in them , I cannot fault them at all the staff are so good they inform you with the activities they have done each and every day , my grandson has come on so much since him starting they always try to involve him in the activities the other children are doing which I think it's very good that he's not singled out with all the problems he has, his sister has come out of her self and joins in more that's with the encouragement the staff give them , I would highly recommend this nursery
My son has attended the nursery since last year, he has really come on since then learning numerous new things, he is 2 and is way ahead of his years because of this nursery I would highly recommend and the staff well the staff are brilliant always willing to chat to you after pick up with a run down of my child's day just makes me feel so much more confident in the nursey.

I've been sending my children to Broomfield for the last 6 years. All 3 children started there as babies and have attended right up to school age and for school holiday sessions. All of my children are autistic non-speaking kids with high support needs and some challenging behaviours. The staff at the nursery have always been supportive around all of my children's needs and have gone above and beyond for us as a little family, in fact they treat my children more like family than anything.
