Livia

Hi, I'm Livia. I have worked at Broomfield Nursery for the past year and a half, and I will soon be Level 3 qualified. I absolutely love being part of the team and couldn't imagine doing anything else. Working with children has always been my passion. I genuinely love watching them grow into their own little selves, seeing their personalities shine, and being there to support them through every stage of their development. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a child achieve something they once found difficult, gain confidence, or reach a new milestone. Knowing that I have played a small part in helping them learn and grow is what makes me love my job so much.

I am a caring, patient, and nurturing person who enjoys building strong relationships with both the children and their families. I always try to create a safe, happy, and supportive environment where every child feels valued, encouraged, and excited to learn.

Outside of work, I enjoy shopping and spending quality time with my loved ones. For me, childcare is so much more than just a job it's something I truly love and feel passionate about every single day. I honestly couldn't picture myself doing anything else, and I look forward to continuing my career helping children grow, learn, and become the amazing little people they are.

My future goal is to continue developing my knowledge and experience within the early years, becoming the best practitioner I can be, and making a positive difference in every child's life.

I hold a level 3 pre school practice, level 1 in Play work, level 2 in food and hygiene and first aid trained. I firmly believe that to every successful start to a child's journey in education is to first relise that every child is unique and every child will develop in there own time.

Something many people don't know was that when I was younger I was a special constable and whilst on crowd control I was walking backwards and I walked into Prince Charles ( now the King oops).

On my time away from work I love to read, do criss cross and follow my beloved FC Halifax Town.

I absolutely love the fact that every day is a different day with the children and watching them development in which they just thrive within our enriched learning environment we provide everyday as a team. Working together to create a brilliant and bright future for all our children that attend the nursery.

I'm a qualified level 2 and 3 (NCFE diploma for the young persons and young people's workforce, early learning and childcare) since 2013. As a young mother I've always been a passionate about the early years and how we as parents and early educators can help our child develop as their development is so fast pacing every day matters and the changes within the weeks is amazing.

A little bit about me, I'm a mother of 4 beautiful girls that range from the ages of 29 to 18 in which I'm so extremely proud of. In my spare time i like spending time with my family, watching movies mainly Marvel super heroes and Disney movies. I love music of all genres I'm always up for laughs if I'm not sleeping. I enjoy time with my girls at home playing board games, trivia even a bit of karaoke even though I lose; it's the laughter and taking part that counts. Watching sunsets and the lakes, beach trips, fish and chips and love a cheeky Nando's.
